The Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon Spreads the work of recognized architects from the United States, Spain, Mexico and South America, within its Architectonic Innovation 21st Century international symposium.

Architects from Spain, United States and Latin America share their professional experiences with students and professors if the Architecture International Symposium 18th edition that is organized by the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon.
The School of Architecture’s polyvalent room is the venue for the exhibition of trajectories and creation, construction, and spaces conditioning proposals, during the academic journey programmed for October 21, 22, and 23.
21st Century, Architectonic Innovation is the symposium’s slogan, which purpose is to spread the work of successful professionals the new worldwide architectonic trends.
INAUGURATING SYMPOSIUM
The event was inaugurated on October 21st by the UANL´s Academic Secretary, Ubaldo Ortiz Mendez, who was accompanied by the School of Architecture’s Principal, Raul Cepeda Badillo, and the Architect Cristina Flores Juarez, the symposium’s coordinator.
“This symposium is for the students to receive immediate feedback with today’s great architects — well known people due to their publications in the world’s universities — who offer us not only their works, but all types of knowledge for the students´ growth,” said Cepeda Badillo.
Among the exhibitors there are Josep Maria Montaner, architect and Architectonic Composition professor at the Barcelona School of Architecture; Architect Javier Artadi, Architectonic Design professor at the Applied Sciences Peruvian University’s School of Architecture; Sebastian Adamo and Marcelo Faiden, professors at the University of Buenos Aires and the University of Palermo, and Felipe Mesa with a Master’s degree in Architecture by the Polytechnic University of Barcelona.
The third journey’s program includes a keynote speech by Architect Pete Garrett, recognized by the American Architecture Institute and Mauricio Rocha, Architectonic Language and Projects professor at the National Autonomous University of Mexico’s School of Architecture.
The event’s attendees’ include architecture student from the Northeast region, including institutions such as the UR, UDEM, ITESM, UVM Campus Saltillo and the Autonomous University of Coahuila.
